Terms & Conditions

1.1. Who we are. This website is operated by Le Creuset Middle East Trading LLC, a company a registered with the Department of Economy and Tourism in the Emirate of Dubai with commercial license number 1263539 and whose registered office is Office 2099, 2nd Floor, Dubai Supreme Court Complex Umm Hurair 2, PO Box 11758 Dubai, UAE ("we", "us", "our").
1.2. How to contact us to make a query and/or complaint. You can contact us by email at enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com
1.3. How we may contact you. If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.
2.1. "Consumer" means the natural or legal person, obtaining a commodity or service for or without a fee to satisfy their own or another person's needs, or who is dealt with or contracted in this regard.
2.2. "UAE" means the United Arab Emirates.
2.3. "Website" means the Le Creuset Website www.lecreuset.ae
2.4. "Writing" includes emails. When we use the words "writing" or "writen in these terms and conditions, this included emails. 
3.1. By placing an order on our Website, it shall be regarded as an offer to purchase products under these terms and conditions. 
3.2. After you place an order, you may receive an e-mail from us to acknowledge that we have received your order with a summary of the products selected, the delivery details provided and payment method. Please note that receipt of this email does not mean that your order has been accepted by us.
3.3. Your order is accepted and a contract is created between you and us when we have dispatched the products which you ordered and we have sent a confirmation of dispatch email to you.
3.4. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and availability of the product.If we are unable to supply you with a product(s), for example because a product is not in stock or no longer available or due to an error (including a price or description error on our website), we will inform you that your order has been rejected and will not be processed. If you have already paid for the order we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.
3.5. The products offered for sale by us on the Website are not intended for resale. If you are a reseller or professional who intends to purchase to resell, please contact us at enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com
4.1. Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
4.2. Stock availability. Stock availability will be shown on the Web Site, and whilst while we endeavour to ensure products are always available, there may be times when products will be temporarily out of stock. In these instances there is an option that can be selected, and you emailed when the product is back in stock.
5.1. Prices include VAT but not delivery costs. All prices displayed on our Web Site will be in AED, Arab Emirates Dirham and be inclusive of  VAT, at the prevailing rate, but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due. The applicable delivery costs will be clearly displayed during the checkout process. In accordance with clauses 3.2 and 3.3 above, we will send you order confirmations to the email address you provided to use detailing the order information (including the prices (in AED) of the products you have purchased, and the applicable delivery costs).
5.2. Payment processing. By placing an order, you authorise us or our third-party payment processer to process your credit/debit card details for the amount of your order. In some cases, and depending on the payment method chosen, the third-party payment processor may require you to create an account with them and to accept their standard terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, we shall not be liable to you for any damage or loss you may incur as a result of such payment processing activities. We may remove or add cards or other payment methods that we accept at any time without prior notice to you.
5.3. What happens if we get the price wrong. Due to the large number of products on our site it is always possible that some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced, despite our best efforts. If we discover there is a pricing error we will normally, at our discretion, either (i) contact you and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or (ii) cancel the order and issue you a refund, or as set out under paragraphs 8.1 and 9.3 of these terms and conditions, or (iii) reject your order and notify you of the rejection. Orders will not be accepted if there is a pricing error.
5.4. Price changes Prices are subject to change without notice. Any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price but changes will not affect your order, it being understoof that the price of the product is the price on the day of the order.
5.5. When you must pay and how you must pay. We will not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch your order. We accept payment with the following issued credit or debit cards: Visa credit and debit cards, MasterCard credit and debit cards, American Express and Visa Electron cards. By submitting an order to us through our site, you are confirming that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct. All transactions will be in AED, Arab Emirates Dirham. We do not accept cash, cheques, gift cards or vouchers as payment for purchase online.
5.6. The maximum spend per transaction is Arab Emirates Dirham ten thousand (AED 10,000). 
6.1. Delivery information and costs. Orders from the website can only be delivered to addresses in the UAE. Delivery fees are calculated according to the products, the total amount of the order and the delivery service chosen. Standard Delivery is FREE for all orders over 100 AED. Standard Delivery is 2 to 5  business days.
Please note that business days are Monday to Friday, but exclude public holidays in the UAE. Every effort will be made to meet these delivery timescales, but this cannot be guaranteed in some parts of the UAE. 
6.2. Delay in delivery If our supply of the products is delayed for any reason, then we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event of a delay of more than thirty (30) days from your order, you may end the contract. In this case, we undertake to refund you within fourteen (14) days. We are not responsible for delays outside our control.
6.3. When you become responsible for the product. Ownership of the product will pass to you once (i) we have received payment in full, and (ii) the product is dispatched from our warehouse(s) for shipment to you. We may recover or decline to dispatch to you any products ordered by you at any time, prior to ownership passing to you, in the case of breach of these terms and conditions, fraud or negligence, or as set out under clause 3.4 above.
6.4. Risk in the product will pass to you upon delivery or when a carrier organized by you collects it from us.
6.5. Reservations. In case of delivery of an onviously damaged or non-conforming package (i.e opened package), you can (i) refuse the delivery and indicate the reason on the delivery note or (ii) accept the delivery but indicate your reservations on the delivery note and do not sign it. In any case, you must notify the carrier and us at enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com of the reservations. 
6.6. You have to return the product(s) to us at your own cost. If you are exercising your right to cancel under this clause 6, it is your responsibility to pay for the return carriage of the product to us. We recommend that you use a traceable and insured service to return the product(s) to us.
7.1. Right of withdrawal. We want to guarantee the total satisfaction of our customers. If you are not satisfied with the item ordered you have the right to cancel any order you have placed (except for any products made to your specification or personalised), without giving reasons, at any time, up to 30 (thirty) calendar days, starting from the day after we have delivered the product (withdrawal period). Delivery is when you or a nominated person enter in physical possession of the product. In the event your order is split into several deliveries over different days:  you have until 30  (thirty) calendar days starting from the day after you (or someone you nominate) receives the last product ordered under the order you want to cancel. In the event you have purchased a set of items the withdrawal right can be applied to the whole set and not the single item of set. 
7.2. How do I exercise my right of withdrawal. If you are contracting as a consumer to cancel the order without any liability to us, you must contact us within 30 (thirty) calendar days starting from the day after we have delivered the product, on:
(i)    by email us at  enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com; or 
(ii)    by post/mail to Le Creuset PO Box 11758 Dubai, UAE
with a clear statement of your decision to terminate the sale contract.
To respect the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the period for exercising this right.
7.3. How do I return the product. If you cancel your order you must return the entire product unused and undamaged, in the original product packaging including the accessories, care and use booklet and all labels, at your cost and liability, following the instructions and the address that will be provided to you by the Le Creuset customer service at enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com.
7.4. When will I receive my refund. We will refund the price paid for your product, including the delivery fee, (except for any additional costs resulting from the purchaser's choice of a delivery type other than the standard delivery offered by Le Creuset in the purchase process) within 7  days from the return of  the product back to us. We will refund you using the same payment method as for the original order.  
7.5. The cost of delivery of returning the product to us will not be refunded, this will be paid by you. 
7.6. We reserve the right to refuse to accept the returned product or to refund the purchase price paid, if the product is not returned as required above in clause 7.3.  
8.1. If you:
•    receive the wrong order or the product is damaged on receipt of delivery: or 
•    receive a product that is not as described on the Website, or 
•    would like to return a product due to an error on our side, such as an error in pricing, or a delay in delivery,
then please contact us by email at enquiries.ae@lecreuset.com. We will then establish the reason for the return and send you an email including your related case number and if appropriate the return procedure and address information.
9.1. How do I return the product. If we have requested the product to be returned, you must return the entire product undamaged in the original product packaging including accessories, the care and use booklet and all labels. We also cannot be held responsible for packages that are not returned to us, so we recommend that you use a traceable and insured service to return products to us.
9.2. Will I receive a refund. If we accept a return of a wrong order, damaged or mis-described product, or if the reason is due to an error on our side, such as an error in pricing, or a delay in delivery, we will refund to you the product amount in full (excluding the amount paid for the original shipping fee, if any) plus the cost of return. If the reason for the return is not due to a fault of us, we reserve the right to refuse to accept the returned product and reject to refund the purchase price paid if the product is not returned as required in clause 8.3 above. 
9.3. Refund procedure. When will I receive my refund? If you are entitled to a refund under paragraph 8.1 of these terms and conditions, we will refund the price paid for your product, including the delivery fee, within seven (7) days from the date that we complete our assessment of the return request and confirm to you that you may return the product to us (as set out under paragraph 8.1 of these terms and conditions). We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have provided us with the evidence that the product has been returned to us, whichever is the earlier. We will refund you using the same payment method as for the original order.  
10.1. We shall not be liable for any indirect losses you may suffer, including any loss of profit, income or anticipated savings as a result of our failure to comply with these terms and conditions, or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way that would be unlawful to do so, including for death or person injury caused by our negligence.  We are not liable for any business losses. If products purchased from the Website are for commercial, business or re-sale purposes, we have no liability to you for any losses including any loss profit, income or revenue, anticipated savings, business, contracts, data, time or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
10.2. These terms and conditions constitute the entire terms on which we will provide products to you and cancel and supersedes all prior arrangements and representations, whether verbal or written.
10.3. No delay or failure by us in exercising or enforcing any of our rights or remedies under these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver of those rights.
10.4. If any one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions should be held by any court to be unenforceable, such provision shall be validly restated to as nearly as possible approximate the intent of the clause and, if such clause cannot be restated for any reason, shall be severable from these terms and conditions and deleted.
10.5. You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any person without our prior written consent. No third party shall be entitled to enforce any of these terms and conditions either.
10.6. All notices given by you to us must be sent to our registered address B/Office -332, Youssef Zahra Building, Al Quoz Third, Dubai, UAE and conditions from time to time. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when placing an order.
10.7. We do not sell to minors. If you are under 18 years old you cannot buy on-line our products unless you are supervised by your parents or other adults with responsibility for you. 
11.1. Most Le Creuset products come with a guarantee which is in addition to your legal rights. In summary the guarantee covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. 12.1. All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of products from our Website shall be in English and Arabic and construed and governed according to the laws of the UAE, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

All disputes, claims, questions, or differences, (whether contractual or non-contractual in nature such as claims in tort, from breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Emirate of Dubai.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring safe and secure online shopping. We use your personal data to complete your online purchase of the product and providing additional services (after-sale services, the prevention of fraud, the management of returns). 
Only with your consent, we may also process your personal data to send you personalized marketing communications. How we may use your personal information and our policy relating to privacy and the use of cookies is set out in here in our privacy policy and cookies policy. Before you proceed with payment during the purchase process, you will be requested to accept our present Online Sales Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion without prior written notice to you. Our latest terms and conditions will be published on this Website, and any purchase that you make will be governed by the terms and conditions that are in place at the date of your order. We recommend that you save or print a copy of these terms and conditions for your own records.
