Children: This website is not intended for children beloe the age of 18 years ("Children") and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

We may collect personal data from you when you use our website, register a Le Creuset account, buy a Le Creuset product on the Website, or subscribe to our marketing communications. The personal data may include:

FOR OUR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS We may have to process some data about you to fulfil our legal obligations and other obligations arising from instructions received from authorities.
TO CREATE A LE CREUSET ACCOUNT We will use your data to create a Le Creuset account which will give you access to a series of advantages dedicated to registered users, to better enjoy our services, such as faster checkout, save multiple shipping addresses, view and track orders, receive special coupons and discounts. Any processing activity is required to enable us to provide these services to you as a Le Creuset account holder.
TO MANAGE YOUR ORDERS AND PROVIDE OUR PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND ASSISTANCE TO YOU We will use your data to manage our contractual relationship with you, your purchase of products on the Website, your use of the Website, any subsequent after-sales assistance, or your participation in our contests. We may have to process some data about you for our administrative purposes connected to our contractual relationship with you such as accounting, billing and audit, payment card verification, fraud screening, safety, security, systems testing, maintenance, and statistical analysis. Occasionally we may need to contact you for administrative or operational reasons. For instance, to send you confirmation of your purchase. We will also use your personal data to reply to your requests sent through our Website forms or other channels. RE-TARGETING / TAILOR OUR OFFERS AND IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE We would like to use your data to tailor our services and offers to your needs and preferences to provide you with a personalized Le Creuset customer experience. META PIXEL AND TRACKING TOOLS When you visit our Website and accept cookies, we use Meta Pixel and related tracking technologies provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) to collect certain technical and behavioural data about your use of the Website. The data shared with Meta, only if you have accepted cookies, includes: (a) technical identifiers such as your IP address, user-agent string, browser and device characteristics, operating system, screen resolution, language preference, and time zone; (b) cookie identifiers set by Meta on your device, including the _fbp cookie and the click identifier fbclid when present; and (c) interaction events such as page views, product views, add-to-cart actions, checkout steps, Le Creuset account creation, search queries, additions to wish lists, and purchases. PRODUCT REVIEWS In case you have purchased one of our products, we may send an email asking for your products’ review. We are interested at product reviews from our customers (if they wish to provide such information) to constantly improve our products and services. At the end of the purchase process, we may also invite you to write your product review. The review is not mandatory, and you are free to submit it or not.
WHATSAPP FOR BUSINESS Some of our physical stores use WhatsApp for Business with customers which request so, just in order to provide support and send information about our products. This channel is not aimed to perform the sale of our products. No bank account/card data or other sensitive information will be requested via Whatsapp. We may also, where you have given your express opt-in consent, use WhatsApp as a channel for personalised marketing communications about Le Creuset products, offers and events. Where WhatsApp marketing is managed through the Insider platform, Le Creuset Middle East Trading L.L.C. and Le Creuset Group AG act as joint data controllers for that processing on the same basis as our other Insider-enabled marketing channels. The use of WhatsApp involves a transfer of your personal data outside the UAE, including to the United States and the European Union. You may exercise your data protection rights, including to revoke/opt out and the erasure of the data, by contacting your store or at privacy@lecreuset.com. Data retention by WhatsApp is covered in the WhatsApp's privacy policy; Le Creuset will retain WhatsApp data in line with our other marketing data retention periods and will, in any event, delete such information from its own systems after 1 (one) year, though it cannot guarantee and is not liable for any continued processing of the data on WhatsApp by WhatsApp.

Security - We place great importance on the security of the data of our users. Le Creuset will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is kept secure, only used for the purposes set forth in this privacy notice (and not for any other purposes), and it can be accessed or corrected upon your request. We use organizational, technical and administrative security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal data. Whilst we cannot guarantee any of these events will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.

Where - To provide you with the services described above, your data may be processed or stored both in the UAE and outside of the UAE. Given the global nature of Le Creuset programs, some of the affiliated companies and partners of Le Creuset that act as processors may access your personal information and may be established in countries in the UAE or also outside the UAE. In particular, data shared with Meta through tracking technologies on our Website may be transferred to and processed in the United States and the European Union. In any case, your data may be transferred only to countries offering adequate protection according to the Data Protection Legislation or, if this is not the case, under specific contractual arrangements to ensure adherence to Data Protection Legislation rules and standards. In any case, where your personal information is sent to countries outside the UAE, your data will be protected by adequate safety systems, which are constantly updated and maintained in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.

You understand and consent to the transfer of your personal data outside the UAE as described herein,

We will retain your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes for which it was collected, after which it will be destroyed or rendered unusable. For example, we may have to keep data about your purchase to comply with our legal obligations or resolve disputes. Your Le Creuset account will be kept live until you request us to cancel it. We will keep your information for the purpose of providing you with newsletters marketing communications and personalised contents for as long as you consent. Your personal data collected for marketing is checked periodically to verify whether you are still interested in receiving our marketing communications. After a certain time without interactions, we might send you a communication to confirm that you wish to stay in touch with us, if we do not receive a response, we will stop sending you marketing communications.

Le Creuset staff – Your personal data will be processed only by our authorized staff or by the authorized staff of other companies within Le Creuset group supporting us in providing you with the services described above. If you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes above, your personal data inserted in Le Creuset group database will be accessible to Le Creuset sales staff as it supports Le Creuset group with its business activity.

Other companies working for us and our providers – Depending on the service, we may share your personal data with specialised companies which we entrust, on our behalf, as data processors, with duties of technical and organisational nature that are necessary to manage our relationships with customers and provide you the services described above. These include companies that provide storage services for documentation regarding customer relationships, providers of technical services, the payment gateway, our newsletter platform, companies that evaluate service quality and customer satisfaction, or carry out, on our behalf, marketing. These third parties will only access your information to perform tasks and duties in compliance with this Privacy notice and Data Protection Laws. Additionally, we may share your personal information with companies that support us in the provision of our services with other administrative or operational tasks, as autonomous controllers, such as our warehousing and distribution partners. Meta Platforms – When you accept cookies on our Website, certain technical and behavioural data (as described in Section 3 above) is shared with Meta, which acts as an independent data controller in respect of the data it receives. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy (available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/) for the purposes of advertising measurement, personalised advertising, audience building, and campaign optimisation. This data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and the European Union. For further details on Meta’s data processing practices and international transfers, please refer to Meta’s Privacy Policy and Technology Terms linked in Section 3 above.

Legal obligations - We might have to disclose your information to third parties if this is necessary to (i) comply with laws and regulations; (ii) prevent fraud or misuse of our services; or (iii) protect Le Creuset’s business and property rights. These third parties may include legal services, audit services and local regulators and authorities.

It is necessary for you to provide us with some personal data in order to enable us to comply with our contractual obligations to you. Without your personal data, you may be unable to purchase products from us or register a Le Creuset account on the Website. It may be necessary for us to retain some of this data for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations. Providing personal data for marketing purpose, personalized contents and newsletter is optional. Not providing your data for these purposes will not have any negative consequences for you, however this means that we cannot provide you with Le Creuset newsletters and promotional offers. Under the Data Protection Legislation, you have the right:

of access to your personal data: you can request to be informed of what we are doing with your data (particularly to receive details of the source and the categories of data, the purposes and methods of the processing, where possible the envisaged period for which data will be stored or the criteria used to determine it, the recipients or categories of recipients to which the data may be disclosed and which may become aware of the data (inside or outside the UAE), the appropriate safeguards under which we transfer your data (outside the UAE) and request a record of your personal data we have in our possession;
to rectification: you can request us to correct or update your data in our database;
to erasure: you can request us to delete your data from our database (right to be forgotten), unless we still need it for some valid/legal reasons; With specific reference to marketing purposes (a) we will no longer collect your data once you withdraw your consent; and (b) of course, should you wish to delete personal data previously collected, you can ask for their erasure in accordance with this Section;
to restrict the processing: you can request us to suspend your data from being processed in our database;
to data portability: to receive copy of your personal data or in certain circumstances and where technically feasible to transmit it to another organization; and
subject to any exception under the Data Protection Legislation and this Privacy Policy, to object to the processing and to withdraw consent at any time, particularly to the data being processed for direct marketing and profiling related to such marketing; and
to lodge a complaint with The UAE Data Office.
